Concrete Outdoor Furniture Shipping And Installation Info
Our concrete outdoor furniture is shipped on pallets. Pallet sizes vary depending on the product and/or variety of products being sent to the location. The shipment packaging info and weight will be outlined on your quotation as well as the Bill of Lading.
Unless otherwise stated on the quotation all orders are shipped via common carrier truck, road transport. The purchaser will be required to have someone on site to receive the shipment. If you do not have a dedicated person at the delivery site you will need to provide us with a contact person and telephone number for “Prior Notification” to coordinate the delivery. They will need to inspect the items immediately upon arrival. If there appears to be any sign of shipping damage your receiver will need to have the driver make note of it on the delivery documentation prior to signing for the shipment. Do not refuse the delivery, if damage does occur it will rarely be to more than a piece or two. We will send replacement parts as quickly as possible and we will deal with the freight company.
As shipping is a big part of the cost of our products we make every effort to keep those costs as low as possible. In order for us to provide our customers with accurate shipping costs we need to know if you will require any of the below services. Most freight companies have additional charges for these extra services. We will break out those extra services on the quotation so you can see the costs associated.
Extra Delivery Services:
- Power Tailgate Delivery ( You will need this service if you do not have a loading dock or forklift available at the delivery site to offload the pallets.) This service involves the delivery driver offloading the pallets with a power lift gate, either at the curb or in your parking area if the space allows. You will be required to have adequate space set aside to allow for a speedy delivery.
- Prior Notification ( You will need this service if you want the freight company to contact you prior to delivery to coordinate the delivery timing.)
- Residential Delivery ( Freight companies have an extra fee for delivering to a residential address. )
- Inside Delivery ( If you will require the delivery driver to move the freight anywhere other than just off the truck there can be an extra fee.)
Most tables and benches require some assembly. Assembly instructions and a list of the parts will be sent with the shipment. Also a list the tools you will require for un-packaging and assembly will be provided.
